The following is the Christchurch Corn Exchange report for the week ending Friday, 28th instant: —The grain and produce market has not been marked by any signs of improvements during the past week, and calls for no particular comemnt. as it remains in precisely the same state as the previous one. The only line in brisk demand is wheat—prime Hunter’s and Pearl—which is sought after by millers and otheis for mixing, and can be fairly well p’aced at quotations as under : —Wheat : Tuscan 3s 4d, Pearl and Hunter’s 3s 3d f o.b.— Oats : Milling 3s, short feed 2s lod, long oats 2s yd f.o.b.—Barley: Malting 3s 6d to 4s, feed 2s to 2s 3d Christchurch.—Beans and Peas : The former 3s to 3s 3d, the latter 3s 3d to 3s 6d f.o.b.—Potatoes : Nominally L 4 10s f.0.b., sacks included. Market bare.—Butter and Cheese : 6d to yd for the former, the latter to 5d f.o.b.
