The cricket match between the English team and an Eleven of Victoria was resumed to-day, when the home team with six wickets down for 118 continued their first innings, which closed for 146. The principal scorers to-day were—F, Walters 32, and G. Smith 18. The visitors then went in fur their second innings, and at the close of the day’s play had lost eight wickets for 130. Shrewsbury, bowled for 2G ; Ulyett, b 21; and Barnes, not out, 37. Owing io the recent rains the wicket was heavy, and much cut up during the day.
