[bt xxlkqeaph.] Racecourse, To-day. The following are the results of to-day’s racing : Trial Stakes of 100 sovs j one mile. Mr Walker’s Fishgirl, Bst 91b (T. Taylor) 1 Mr Robertson’s Mitrailleuse, Sit 91b, (MoOIosky) 2 Mr Bobbett’s Tetford, Sat 9ib (Vaille) 8 Vortex and Revolver also ran. Betting—6 to 4 agst Fiihgirl, 2 tol agst Mitrailleuse, 3 to 1 a«st Tetford, 3 to 1 agst Revolver, 10 to 1 agst the others. Fishgirl got the best of a bad start, but at the back of the coarse all were' lu a cluster. Rounding the turn for home, Mitrailleuse was leading, and kept that place till nearly opposite the new stand, when Fishgirl came again, and after an exciting struggle won by half a length. Time—lmin 46£sec. Welcome Stakes, for 2-year-olds ; five furlongs. Mr Robertson’s Musket—Slander Colt, Bstsib (Cany) 1 Mr Walters’s Musket— Rosanna, Bst (T. Taylor) 2 Mr Marshall’s Derringer ... ... 3 Lionel and Steel all also ran. Betting —6 to 4 Musket-Slander colt; 3 to 1 Derringer; 4to 1 Lioness ; 4 to I Steel All; 10 to 1 Lionel.
