Necklace went three miles steadily, coming home fast, and s N elson, accompanied by Wapiti, covered two circuits at three-quarter pace. . Black Rose and Water King had a strong threequarter pace gallop for two miles, the former apparently having the best of it. Tim Whiffler did half pace work for two miles, when Fnsileer joined him, and the pair came a mile fast. The Poet and Minerva had a strong two miles gallop, and Rnbina went twice round at three-quarter pace. Marion and Bussley went a mile steadily, and came half a mile fast. Ike, I Sir Bedivere, Carlton, and Puck, went a mile steadily, and then did a mile at I three-quarter pace. Johnny Faulkner and Tasman sweated twice round, and July and Sou’-wester also had a servjoeI able sweat over four miles. The Hon I Qeo.|McLean’s string, consisting of Babe* I zahl, Lady Emma, Lady Evelyn, and I Lady Gertrude, arrived safely last night.
