The visitors, with one wicket . down for 162 runs, continued their first innings, which closed for a total of 239. The principal scorers were :—Ulyett, b, 100; Shrewsbury, b, 52; Barnes, o, 37 ; Peel, not out, 17. The home team then went in for their second innings, and lost four wickets for 75 runs when time, was called. -,
