MR GRIGG AND THE WORKING MAN.
To the Editor. g lßi —We hear that Mr Grug has been lepreaented to ua as no frieud of the working man. Well, Sir, what do you think of this 1 -Two years ago we contracted with Mc Grigg to plough the whole aeaaon at 6s an acre. On completion of the work, Mr Grigg expreaaed himself as highly pleased with it, and very much to our aurorise he paid m 6d an acre extra for the* work. Thia amounted to a very tidy little aum, and as there was no election on at the time we believe that it was a generous gentlemanly action, and we shall not forget it at the present election.—We are, etc, Cla.ek Bros., Contractors, Tinwald.
