DYNAMITE OUTRAGES IN LONDON.

Several Houses Wrecked. . [REUTER’S TELEGRAMS —COPYRIGHT ] London, May 30. A serious dynamite outrage was perpetrated this evening at St James’s square, Pall Mall. The facts, as ascertained, show that three separate explosions occurred almost simultaneously on different sides of the square, causing considerable damage to several buildings in the neighborhood. Those that suffered most were the houses occupied by the Army and Navy Club and the Junior Carlton Club. The windows of both, buildings were shat* tered to atoms. So for as at present known no one was injured. Midnight. Another outrage was committed at a lateTiour this evening at Great Scotland Yard, Whitehall,' where a violent explosion of dynamite took place, causing serious damage to the buildings and injuries of a more or less severe character to several persons in the neighborhood of the explosion. London, May 31, Morning. Further particulars, which have now been obtained regarding the dynamite outrages last night, show that by the explosion in St James’s square the kitchen of the Junior Carlton Club was completely wrecked, and that seven Club servants were severely injured, though none fatally. It has also now been ascertained that the explosion in Great Scotland Yard caused immense damage to the buildings occupied b> the Official Criminal Investigation Department, and other premises in the neighborhood. . Dynamite had been deposited in the. urinal of the police office where the explosion occurred. Four persons have been injured, one of them, a constable, very severely. Lateb. Intelligence has now been received showing that another outrage was nearly perpetrated last evening in Trafalgar square. Charing Cross, where there was discovered deposited at the base of Nelson Column sixteen cakes of dynamite, with a fuse attached. The discovery was fortunately made in time to prevent an explosion, which, had it occurred, would certainly have destroyed the column. The news of last night’s occurrences has caused great consternation throughout the metropolis. The explosions and the attempt at Trafalgar square are no doubt the outcome of an organised party, but so far as known no clue has yet been obtained to the perpetrators.
