[kkotbb’s TBLEOKAMa COPTKIOHT. The Oriental Bank. Melbourne, Yesterday. It has Jbeen ascertained that the Oriental Bank Corporation is indebted to ten associated Banks of this colony to the amount of L. 50,000, of which L. 34,000 is covered by securities. Acauitted. R. B. Fletcher, late mining manager at Sandhmst, w.-so was committed for trial on March 18th, on several charges oi embezzlement, was acquitted to-day on the first charge. The hearing of the remaining charges is still proceeding. The Markets. The Melbourne Manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, reports on the local grain market as follows: Wheat, 4s to 4s 2d, market rather weaker; malting barley firm at 4s 3d to 4s gd; New Zealand oats firm, and in activedemand at as gd to 3s for feeding, and 3s id to 3s 3d for milling sorts; New Zealand oats, under bond, are in fair demand at 2s 6d to 2s gd. The Suez MailAlbany, Yesterday. The P. and O. steamship Paramatta, with the inward mails via Suez and Brindisi dated London, April 4th, arrived 'at King George’s Sound this pnorning. .
