■ASHBURTON COURSING CLUB. ” ThV Committee of the Ashburton Conning Club held a meeting last evenat the Somerset Hotel, the attendance of members being good. The chair was taken by the president, Mr Alfred Harrison. The minutes of the previous meet* ing were read and confirmed. Mr Taylor was elected as a new member of the Club, and it was decided (hat the cards of the meet to be hold to-morrow, should be two shillings to non-members and one shilling to members The refreshment privileges, it was resolved, should be the same as on previous occasions; The draw for the coming meeting was then made, and resulted as follows : Purrr Stakes.
