Later intelligence from Haabi states that the Greyhound has floated off, and safely anchored a( Levuka.

A disastrous fire occurred this morn? ing at the Apollo Candle Company’s works, Footscray. The whole of the premises were almost totally destroyed, and the loss is a very heavy one. The supply of water was deficient, and it was consequently almost impossible to check the spread of the flames.
