Midwinter, c Murdoch, b Evans 16 Q. E. Scott, not out 114 F. Walters, b Evans ... ... ... 25 J. M. Blackham, b Garrett 3 G. E, Palmer, run out 10 P. G. MoShane, lb n, b Garrett ... 25 H. F. Boyle, hw, b Garrett 1 Extras 29 Total 420 The chief scorers in the second innings of New South Wales were— Bannerman, 34; Murdoch, 22; Evans, 11; Nunn, 24; and Mart, 29. In Victoria’s second innings, in which seven wickets were lost for 136, the chief scorers were—M‘Shane, 17; Horan, 21; McDtinnell, 42; Scott, 12; Blackham, not out, 12; and Midwinter 10. Every one in the two teams bowled, except McDonnell, Blackham, and Walters, of Victoria, and Murdoch and Hall, of New South Wales. Midwinter was very destructive in New South Wales’ second innings, getting seven wickets for 54 runs. Garrett and Evans bowled all through Victoria’s second innings, with the exception of one over by Jones.
