[REUTER’S TELEGRAMS. —COPYRIGHT.] Sydney, Saturday. The session of the Intercolonial Convention closed at noon to-day. Most of the delegates leave Sydney this afternoon. At the final meeting this morning, the motion of Governor Des Vceux for preventing the unrestricted purchase of land in New Guinea and the Pacific Islands was adopted. A resolution proposed by Mr Whitaker criminals should be prohibited from landing in the Australian colonies,” was also carried.
