[by telegraph.] Wellington, To-day. The walking match, Edwards v. Scott, commenced at ten last night. At 9.20 this morning Scott had covered 65 miles, and Edwards 53 miles 11 laps. Each lap is eighty yards. Later. In the walking match at 12.45 p.m. Scott had gone 71 miles, and Edwards 68 miles 12 laps.
