Freights to the United Kingdom from Adelaide—Sailing, 40s to 42s fid; ditto from outports, 425. to 455; the market is flat, and prices nominal. Sporting News. Melbourne, Yesterday. The weather is to-night unsettled, and appears unfavorable for the Caul-' field Cup meeting to-morrow. The following is the latest betting on that * event: —Calma, 6 to 1; Footstep, 7 to 1; Fryingpan, 14 to 1; Septius, 14 to 1; Norfolk, 15 to 1; Belmont, 20 to 1. Boscawen scratched for the Melbourne Cup.
