Wellington, To-day. At the divorce sittings in Novemberthe case of Edwards v. Edwards ana Remington will be heard. The petitioner is residing here and seeks for a dissolution of marriage; on the grounds of adultery and desertion. The petition seta forth that the parties were married on the 24th of October, 1867, at the Parish Church of St. Clements, Hastings, iujthe : | county of Sussex. The couple resided in England for a short time and afterwards came to New Zealand. They lived at Bulls, Wellington, and Napier,' and Rwm whilst the husband was carrying On business in the latter place that the respondent. I deserted him and went to cohabit with » I chemist in the Rangitikei' district. As I issue of the marriage there were five I children, three of which, aged thirteen, I eleven and ten years respectively, ace now I alive.
