[per press association.] The Rotorua Baths. Auckland, To-day. At the inquest on|Bedelia Feeney, who was found dead in Priest’s'bath at Obinemutu, a verdict of found dead was returned. The jury added a rider that the medical officer ought not to absent himself from Ohinemutu without appointing a competent person to take his place and attend to the invalids attending the Government baths. The Premier. Wellington, To-day. The Premier, with his family, leaves for Onehunga in the Hinemoaat eight tomorrow morning. The Land Leagers. Christchurch, To-day. Mr Redmond and his secretary arrived from Wellington this morning, and will proceed to the West Coast on Tuesday. Ho lectures in Christchurch on his return. An Assault Case. Dunedin, To-day. At the City Court, Thomas Ireland for assaulting Albert Cohen, a reporter on the Dunedin Star was fined 40i and costa (L 3 ss) or seven days’ imprisonment. The affair arose out of a paragraph recently inserted re the horsewbippng case, but all evidence as to this was excluded by the Bench.
