London, July 9. 8 In the House of Commons to-day, P Mr Fawcett, Postmaster-General, stated in reply to a question that in consequence 1 of a disturbance at Brindisi, the next overland mail had been ordered to proceed direct from Port Said to New Plymouth, without calling at any Mediterranean ports.
