This was an appeal from a judgment given in the Wellington Supreme Court, which granted an injunction against the appellant (the doj, fendant in the Court below) for ing or selling in the colony a work en titled “ Wright’s Australian and Amerf
mm Commercial Directory and Gazetteer,” which, it was alleged, consisted mainly of material from a work beloriKing to plaintiffs. The appeal was dismissed with cost. Acquitted. Westport, To-day. At his second trial in the District Court yesterday, W. J. McLeod was acquitted on a charge of larceny'of partnership property. • : ■ The Omapere. The Mahinapua put a hawser to the Omapere last night, and would mostiikely have got her off, but the warp parted at the critical moment. The Omapere is now in a slightly better position.
