It was currently reported in town today that considerable defalcations hare been found to exist in the accounts of one . of the County Road Boards. Mr Ollivier, the Provincial Auditor, hasmade a rial: audit; and we understand that it L3OQ is unaccounted for. One of the most prominent officials of the Board, it is said, is conspicuous by his absence from the district. ■The Risking Clpb holds its first regular meeting to-night at the Town Hall. The previous success which the club has met and the interest with which its members practise qkatipg should foretell another - successful season.'
