ENGLAND v. AUSTRALIA. [REUTER’S TELEGRAMS—COPVRCGHT.] Melbourne, Yesterday. The International cricket match, England v. Australia, was continued here today, when the home team resumed their second innings. A capital wicket was pitched, and the ground was in good order. The bowling and fielding of the Englishmen were excellent, and the Australians were unable to save a one innings defeat. The bowling of Bates was especially destructive, and was greatly admired. He took seven out of tan wickeie in'each innings, and did the “ hat ” trick to-day.
