A Company has been formed here, styled “ The New Zealand Electric Light and Power Company,’’ to work the Brush, Lane-Fox, and other systems. Changes in the Union s.s. Company’s ServiceConsequent on Captain Underwood’s retirement, the following changes in the Union Company’s service are announced : —Captain Carey is transferred to the Eotomahana, Captain M'Gee to the Te Anau, Captain Jones to the Rotorua, Captain Bernech te the Mahinapua, Captain Alman to the Southern Cross, Captain Kennedy gets the Hauroto, Captain M'Gillivray taking the Hawea, Captain M'lntosh the Hero, Captain Webster the Omapere. Captain Anderson resumes command of the Penguin, which has been re-commissioned after a complete overhaul
