BY ORDINARY TRAIaS AND A SPECIAL NIGHT TRAIN. RETURN FARES; Tickets at the above fares will be issued for the express train on the 22nd, 23rd, 26th, 26th, 20th, and 30th Dec., and Ist Jan., and will be available for return up to and including the Bth January. The journey may be broken at any station, and Passengers for Kingston may travel either via Invercargill or the Waimea Plains Railway. A steamer runs from Kingston in connection with the trains by the latter route. A Special Train will leave Dunedin for Kingston at II p.m. on the 23rd December, arriving at Kingston at 7 a m., and a steamer will be in readiness to convey excursionists to Queenstown.
A SPECIAL NIGHT TRAIN will leave Christchurch at 8.10 p.m. on the 23d December, and be due to leave Ashburton at. 10.30 p.m., Temuka at 12.10 a. m., and Timaru at 12.50 a. m. (not stopping at intermediate stations) arriving at Dunedin at 7.50 a. m. Fares as above. The following arrangements as to fares generally will also be in force : All ordinary single fare tickets issued from 21st December to 2nd January will be available for return up to and including the Bth January.
