All ordinary passenger trains will run on Christmas Day, but goods traffic will be suspended. On the 26th instant the following alterations will be made in the ordinary time-table : The morning train from Methven to Rakaia will run same as on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The evening train from Christchurch for Ashburto i will leave at 4.50 p.m., running 35 minutes later than usual, and the evening Branch train, Rakaia to Methven, will run 20 minutes later than usual. Goods traffic will be suspended on the 26th instant. FARES: Oil ordinary single fare tickets issued from 21st December to 2nd January will be available for return up to and including the Bth January.
