TELEGRAMS.
[per press association.] On the Way. Wellington, To-day. A cablegram has been received from London, bearing date the 19th inst, stating that the following vessels had sailed prior to that date :— Wellington, ship, fdr Port Chalmers, with 319 immigrants ; and Crusader, ship, for Lyttelton, with 381 immigrants. Municipal Trouble. Oamaku, To-day. There is likely to be some trouble over tha installation of Mayor, which took place yesterday. There was not a quorum of the Council present, and the legality of the proceedings will be challenged. To Horse Owners. Entries for the principal handicaps at the Oamaru Jockey Club March Meeting are due to-morrow night.
