THE AUCKLANDERS AT TIMARU.
[by telegraph. J Timaru, To-day. The match was resumed to-day, the Timaru men, with eight wickets to fall, and 61 runs to get to save a one innings defeat, continuing their innings. At two o’clock, with the score at four, Hughes was bowled by Lankham. Eiohbaum, the next man, scored rapidly, and punished both bowlers. Twenty soon appeared on the telegraph board, the score being now 26 for the loss of three wickets. Later, Eichbaum was bowled by Robinson, after getting 19, making the score 29 for four wickets.
