The visitors in the first in- , ings scored 236 against 136 of their opponents. The latter, in their second ; innings, when time was called, had put .."together 22 for the loss of eight wickets. The match was therefore • drawn in favor of the English team, the Twenty-two having 79 runs to make to ' save a one inning’s defeat. Aquatic. Sydney, Saturday. The sculling race for the Krug Champagne 't rophy was rowed to-day, and won by Gaden, Brett 2, Sharland 3. The Tasmanian’Sculling match between E. Trickett and Clifford, for LIOO a-side was won easily by the latter by several lengths.
