Wesleyan District Meeting.— At the Wesleyan district meeting at Christchurch this afternoon it was decided to request a grant from the Conference of L 25 towards the Ashburton circuit.

On tha 22nd, 23rd, and 24th a Special Train will leave Ashburton for the Saleyards Siding (opposite the Shaw Grounds and Racecourse) at 12.30 p. m . returning at 4.50 p. m. on the 28rd, and on the Race Days fifteen minutes after the last race. Return Fares—Sixpence First Class; Fourpence Second Class Tickets available on day of issue only. The Ordinary Trains for and from Christchurch will stop at the Saleyards Siding on each of the three days to pick up or set down passengers. .Passengers from North must b ok through to Ashburton ; those from South must re-book at Ashburton for the Saleyards Siding.
