The Woodstock Rush. The West Coast Times of yesterday reports that the party of Canterbury boys who had previously very bad luck, are now getting half an ounce to the load. The whole field is paying well, although, as on every f oldfield, there are a certain number of offers. The weather until the last few days has been so very bad, that outdoor work has been almost at a standstill. It is now very fine, but bitterly cold. Holloway s Ointment and Pills.— Diseases of the Bowels.—A remedy, which has been tested and proved in a thousand different ways, capable of eradicting poisonous taints from ulcers and healing them up,_ merits a trial of its capacity for extracting the internal corruptions from the bowels. On rubbing Holloway’s Ointment repeatedly on the abdomen a rash appears, and as it thickens the alvine irritability subsides. Acting as a derivative, this unguent draws to the* surface, releases the tender intestines from all acrid matters, and prevents inflammation, dysentery, and piles, for which blistering was the oldfashioned, though successful treatment, now from its painfulness fallen into disuse, the discovery of this Ointment having proclaimed a remedy possessing equally derivative, yet. t>erfectly painless powers.—[Advt.]
