Tobacco and Religion. Winiata occupies his time in smoking and reading the Bible. Accident to a Young Sailor. Christchurch, To-day. A serious accident happened at Lyttelton this morning to an apprentice on board the barque Oregon, named John Brymer. He had been on watch during the night, and at about six this morning went from the galley towards the forecastle, and was not seen until eight o’clock, when he was found lying at tho bottom of the forehold, having fallen some 17ft or 18ft.
