Consols have advanced to New Zealand securities remain at the following quotations :—Five per Cent. 10-40 Loan, io6*4 ; Five per Cent. 1889 Loan, 106 ; Four and a Half per Cent., 1879-1904 Loan, 103. The market rate of discount has advanced J /& per cent., and is now 2 ; the Bank rate is 3 per cent. Adelaide wheat, ex store, remains at -535, and New Zealand ditto at 51s 6d. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, has risen is, and is quoted to-day at 38s. Australian tallow is unchanged at 43s 6d for best beef, and 4.4 s6d for best mutton.
