[per press association.] The Electric Light. Auckland, To-day. The City Council has decided to obtain all information re the electric light. Aristocratic Ladies. The Auckland Stud Company are importing three American mares nearly related to Foxhall and the Derby winner, Iroquois. Found in the Harbor. Wellington, To day. A respectably dressed young woman was found in the harbor this morning Lucky for Nicholls. In the case of Harry Nicholls, charged with forging an endorsament to a cheque, the jury disagreed, and, after being locked up all night, were discharged this morning. The Crown Prosecutor entered a nolle prosequi.
