[per rbotek’s agency.] Certificates Suspended. Brisbane, To-day. An enquiry has been held by the Marine Board into the stranding of the steamer Raleigh on King’s Reef, near Cardwell, on the nth ult. The Board has found that the captain was at fault, and his certificate has been suspended for three months. The mate is censured by the Board for having kept the log in an inaccurate manner. Shipping, Melbourne, Yesterday. The P. and O. steamship Sutlej, with the inward mails via Suez and Brindisi, dated London, June 19th, arrived here this evening. The Orient Company’s new steamship Austral, which left Plymouth on May 20th, arrived here today. The Sugar Market. Melbourne, To-day. Mauritius advices to June 13 report that the sugar market had at that date been swept of all stocks. One thousand tons had been closed for the colonies but nothing was loading.
