[per reuter’s agency.] Cricket. London, June 12. The cricket match Australians v. Derbyshire was commenced to-day at Derby. The weather was cold and inclement, but the attendance of spectators was large. The home team went in first, and were all disposed of for a total of 106. The Australians then commenced their first innings, and at the close of the day’s play had lost two wickets for 136 runs. Massie was bowled for 66, and Banncrman was caught for 24. Won’t Agree to It.
