The problem will probably be referred to Professor Smith of the British Museum; but as there is o probability (in these days of short-sighted reform) ol everything ancient being swept away, v, behaves the people of Ashburton to a great struggle to preserve the last relics of antiquity.—l am, etc., J.C.
