[PSR PRESS ASSOCIATION.] The Tea Market. Auckland, To-day. Mr A. H. Nathan has received the following cablegram from Foochow re the opening of the tea market:— ‘‘Market opened on the 29th May. The opening prices are two taels over last year; for tine to finest medium, one tael over last year’s. The quality of Foochow tea is considered much the tame as last year’s. There is a large business doing. The steamship Bowen is loading for New Zealand.” Shocking. Blenheim, To-day. A slight shock of earthquake was felt here at 11.20 last night. Vital Statistics. Oamaru, To-day, The vital statistics for May are Births, 38: marriages, 9; deaths, 6. Customs Returns. The Customs duties for May amount to L 1,711 Is. Dunedin, To-day. The Customs revenue for May is L 36.012.
