[PKU PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Mr Harris’s Electoral Experiences. Auckland, To-day. Mr Harris addressed the North Frankly n electors at Otahuhu yesterday. He stated that the hearing of the election petition cost him L 360. A vote of confidence was accorded him. The Maori Murderer. Wellington, To-day. The Government have decided not to interfere in carrying out the law in Hiroki’s case. "The Recent Suicide at Wellington. At the inquest on Nelson John Midgeley, who committed suicide on Saturday, the evidence of the constable who made the inspection was that deceased’s gun was loaded with a ballet, and that the same entered deceased’s skull near the eye. A letter was found addressed by deceased to his father, stating—“ I am heart-sick of this world, and cannot work or rest; so goodbye. ” Deceased also sent a message, and enclosed a second letter to a young lady. A Caution to Publicans. Done cun. To-day. Mr Oarow, R. M., fined a publicaness 50s for allowing Yankee Grab to be played in her licensed house.
