True Charity. Mr Thomas Walker, of Yarralla, who is about to proceed on a trip to England, has distributed the sum of Lio,ooo among various New South Wales charities. Aquatic. The Krug champagne sculling trophy, which was rowed for on the Parramatta River on Saturday, was won by Fittes, the Victorian amateur sculler. The Prahran Tragedy. Melbourne, Yesterday. The Victorian Government offer a reward of L2OO for information leading to the discovery of the perpetrator of the dynamite explosion at Prahran on the 18th inst. Bravery to he Rewarded. Melbourne, To-day. The Victorian Humane Society proposes to give rewards to the survivors of the recent disaster at Timaru. Compensation. Mr Edwards has been awarded l4;ooo and Mr G. Tunson 1,2,500 for injuries sustained at the Joliraont railway accident last year.
