A great demonstration of Fire Brigades took place last night. A torchlight procession was formed, in which fully 3000 persons took part. The demonstration was a great success. A Mark of Respectj Both Houses of Parliament adjourned I last night as a mark of respect for the late Hon. Robert Ramsay, formerly Chief Secretary for the Colony. The Press in Flames. A great fire broke out to-day in the Government Printing Offices, Treasury Gardens. It is believed that the building has been completely gutted. Notwithstanding the efforts made to extinguish it, the fire is still burning. Later. The Government Printing Office has been partially gutted by the fire which occurred to-day, and is now been extinguished. The damage is not so great as at first believed, but considerable loss has been occasioned.
