Chili Names the Terms. Telegrams are to hand reporting that Chili has decided upon the terms on which it will conclude a treaty of peace with Peru. The conditions are the concessions by the former of the province of larapaca in lieu of the transfer of the guano deposits ofLobos Island, and an indemnity of twenty millions, payable in sixteen years, in the meantime Chili to occupy Arica, and to retain it if the indemnity is not paid in the specified time. It is further announced that in the event of these terms being refused by Peru, Chili will decline father mediation on the part of the United States.
Getting Over the Crisis. ' The London stock market is recovering from the crisis which recently arose owing to the panic on the Paris Bourse. Alarming Railway Accident. London, Jan. 30. Ferry, Minister of Education ; M. Tirard, Minister of Commerce. The New French Cabinet. Paris, Jan. 30. The. following additional appointments to the new Ministry have been made :—M.
