New Zealand securities remain at the following quotations; —Five per Cent. 10-40 Loan, 104 ; Five per Cent. 1889 Loan, 104; Four and a half per Cent. 1879-1904 Loan, 101%. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, unchanged, 555, ex store ; New Zealand ditto, 525. The total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain is 2,850,000 quarters. Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 41s. Australian tallow —Best beef has fallen is 6d per cwt., and is quoted to-day at 41s 6d ; best mutton, has declined 2s, at 465. Galvanised iron, per ton, 26m. gauge, Lxß 10s. Best Sydney copra has advanced to Lts per ton. Australian leather, best sides are worth xo^d.

Bank Dividend. The Union Bank of Australia has declared a dividend of 7 per cent, for the past half-year. Stealing Dynamite. London, Jan. 23. Intelligence is to hand from Ireland that 6oolbs of dynamite have been stolen from a factory in Limerick, where a quantity of the explosive material was stored. No clue to the perpetrators of the robbery has yet been obtained by the police. Happy Erin. The trial at Cork of fifteen members of a secret society of marauders, who were recently arrested in Dublin, has been concluded. All the prisoners were convicted, and have received heavy sentences of imprisonment. A leader of the society, who turned informer, gave evidence showing the existence of a widespread Fenian organisation in Ireland.
