Considerable excitement was manifested during the elections. An Imperial Rescript. Berlin, Jan. 7. An Imperial rescript addressed to the Prussian Ministry has been made public to-day. The document strongly asserts the right of the exercise of the Imperial prerogative throughout the empire,; and insists that the oath of allegiance be taken by the Government officials, and binds them to abstain from agitation in support of the Government at the time of the Parliamentary elections. The Berlin Press on the Emperor’s Rescript. ‘ Berlin, Jan. 9. It hasjtranspired that the French and English iConsuls-Geneial to the Egyptian Couri have sent an identical note to the Khedive, intimating that England and France have resolved to maintain his Majesty’s authority against any rebellion or other disorder which may occur within his realm.
