(Before His Honor Judge Ward.) ASHBURTON— To-Day. CIVIL CASES. Wilkin and Carter v. George Bennison. —Claim L2OO. Mr Branson appeared for the plaintiff. There was no appearance of the defendant, and judgment was given by default for plaintiffs; immediate execution granted. , . IN BANKRUPTCY. Orders of discharge were granted to the following debtors : —Wm. Fergus, and John O’Connor (Mr G. D. Branson) ; D. Evans and Stephen Stokes (Mr O’Reilly). Re Robert Little, a debtor. This was an application by Mr O’Reilly for an order nisi,calling upon George Hutchinson, commission agent, of Christchurch, to shew cause why he should not deliver up the property of Robert Little, a bankrupt, to the Clerk of Court, Ashburton, and also to show cause why he had not allowed the bankrupt to retain L 25 worth of furniture and personal effects. The order was granted. PROBATE. Re Mary Smith, deceased. Mr Crisp applied that letters of administration might be granted to Hay T. Smith. Granted. The Court then rose.
