NOMINATIONS FOR APPROACHING ELECTIONS.

Masterton, To-day. For "North Wairarapa Messrs Renall and Beetham were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of the former. A poll was demanded. Wellington, To-day. The nominations for South Wellington took place to-day. Messrs Paul Coffey, W. B. Edwards, Wm. Hutchison, Ohas. Hendry, and 0. J. Foxward were proposed. The latter found no seconder. The show of hands was as follows : Coffey, 56; Hutchison, 43; Edwards, 18; Hendry, 9. Roslyn, To-day, John Bathgate, Captain Scott, Edward Hodgkinson, and David Miller were nominated to-day.. The show of hands resulted as follows : Hodgkinson, 20; Scott, 14; Bathgate, 11; Miller, 1. PENINSULA, To-day. James Seaton, R. H. Cullen, M. Don,nelly, and James ; Lewis were.nominated. Show of hands was in favor ot Cullen and Donnelly.
