An alliance having been arranged between Prince Leopold (Duke of Albany) and Princess Helena, fourth daughter of Prince George Victor of Waldeck, one of the German principalities, the betrothal ceremony took place at Frankfort on Saturday last. Wool. London, Nov. 22. The fourth series of wool sales opened to-day with a good attendance of home and foreign buyers. The first catalogue comprised 4,100 bales, for which there was animated bidding. Prices for scoured and crossbred wools ruled one penny to one penny half-penny higher than at the close of last sales. The present series of auctions will close on December 10th. Disappearing. Alexandria, Nov. 22.
