ASHBURTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
A special meeting of the Council was held this afternoon. Present—Crs. Williamson, Bollock, St. Hill, Parkin, Roberts, and Ivess. Cr Williamson was voted to the chair. The Council then went into committee to consider the tenders for compiling the Bate Roll. After some consideration, the tender of Mr Davison for L 23 was accepted, and the Council adjourned.
