MR TAYLOR’S CORDIALS.

To the Editor.

Sir, —In reply to Mr T. Taylor’s letter, which appeared in your paper on Saturday evening, the Agricultural and Pastoral Association did not offer any prize for cordials, so the judges did not think it necessary, beyond giving a highly commended, to make any other award. It is generally understood that articles shown under the heading of “ extra exhibits ” are sent to the Show merely for the purpose .of advertising them.—l am, &c., Geo. Jameson, Sec. A. and P Association. Ashburton, Oct. 31, 1881.
