COURSING.
The,third days’.coursing at the Waterloo Meeting at Tapanui took place yesterday. The weather was line but bitterly cold. The following were the results : Waterloo Plate of L 55, for eleven dogs beaten in the second round of the Cup ; the winner to get L 32 10s ; the runner up, Ll2 10 ; one dog, L 4; three dogs, L2 each. FIRST ROUND. Cineraria beat Peii Duchess of Connaught beat Phlox Drummondii Lancashire Lass beat Hopfactor Clio beat Spring Bonnie Scotland beat Van Diemen Progress ran a bye SECOND ROUND. Duchess of Connaught beat Cineraria Lancashire Lass boat Clio Bonnie Scotland beat Progress the cue—fourth G round. ; Glenlora beat Luna Briton Still ran a bye Don Carles beat Jeannette THE CUP —FIFTH ROUND. : Briton. Still beat Glenlora Don Carlos ran a bye THE PURSE—-THIRD ROUND. Queen of the Seas beat Banshee Legerdemain beat Skiddaw Lass . Harmony beat Mick After the day’s sport there was a meeting of delegates from the various clubs represented. It was, resolved that the next Waterloo Meeting should bo held at the Levels, three miles out of Tirnaru, and that the draw next year take place oh Monday, July 19th, and the. running commence next day. ,
