The Botomahana. Sydney, June 22. The steamship Rotomahana, which arrived yesterday afternoon from Russell, has landed her passengers, but the captain declines to allow any further contact with the shore until he is advised from New Zealand how to act. Execution of a Murderer.
News has been received from the Islands that the chief murderer of Lieut Bower has been caught and executed at the scene of the Sandfly massacre.

The Hon. G. Hawker; who was entrusted with the formation of the new Ministry, consequent upon the retirement of the Hon. W. Morgan, has intimated to the Governor his inability to complete the task, and the Hon. John Colton accordingly has been summoned by liis Excellency to undertake the formation of a Government.
