A mine was discovered by the police to-day, and investigations are now being made with a view to discover the persons concerned in the construction, but up to the present lime no definiteinformtion has Transpired. French and Italian Differences. Parts, Juno IS. Telegrams are to hand from Marseilles reporting that further disturbances between the citizens and the Italian residents have taken place there. Serious riots occurred to-day at the landing of another detachment of troops from the Tunisian territory, who, on their march through the town, were insulted and maltreated by the Italians. The townspeope retaliated, and arms were freely used, and many persons were killed and wounded before order could be restored.
