(bt telegeaeh.) Dunedin, To-day. The Pakeha was bound from Kaipara to Dunedin, with a cargo of bulk timber for the owners. She was insured in the Victoria office for Lx, 000, half of which is Covered by re-insurance in the National The National office likewise covers'half their loss by re-insurance for Lago/in the New Zealand. The vessel was valued at Li,300, and formerly .belonged to Captain Peterson, of Dunedin; and was of 174 tons register/ Captain Boer is married, and leaves a;Wife, but no children. The first mate was married before leaving port on bis last trip. Findleys and Co. spent nearly L7OO putting the vessel in - 'repair:;' 1 they estimate their loss above insurance at L3OO.
